How to be a GlamBassador (Glamour Magazine)

I’ve been asked a lot recently due to someone in the Klout contests showing off they are a Glambassdor – how to become a GlamBassador. I thought I’d take the time to set the record straight so people know what it’s all about.

To apply to be a Glambassador you have to find out when Glamour Magazine is accepting applications. Then you will need to do a short video as part of your application.

Glambassadors is a network of the most influential, well-connected readers across the country. A Glambassador acts as a local reader representative for Glamour’s promotion department in their own city. That person and their friends will get VIP access to Glamour advertiser events and offers, and they work with Glamour on local event scouting, promotion and attendance. It’s just a title of bragging rights, which you can show off. WOO HOO. No need to be jealous when you find out someone is and you aren’t.

If selected, you will:
Act as a local reader representative for Glamour’s promotion department in your city.
Get a Glambassador welcome kit .
Be included on the official announcement page in an upcoming issue.
Receive perks and incentives based on participation.

Glamour accepts applications as their Glambassadors from the cities listed below.
